Five-year, $160 million contract covers information assurance services from headquarters to ships at sea. The Coast Guard has awarded a five-year, $160 million contract to a small business joint venture to provide cybersecurity and information assurance services.
OneMega LLC is comprised of two 8(a) small business companies – Alpha Omega and OneZero Solutions. OneZero is also a service-disabled, veteran-owned company.
They formed a joint venture to pursue larger opportunities including the Coast Guard Information Assurance Risk Management Framework Support Services vehicle.
In this contract, the Coast Guard was seeking a small business contractor to provide cybersecurity services.
The contract has four main task areas:
- Information systems security officer services
- Information systems security engineer services
- Security control assessor support services
- Cybersecurity compliance and readiness services
Work will take place at Coast Guard facilities as well as on board vessels. OneMega will conduct security assessments of vessel-based IT systems, manage cybersecurity documentation and support incident response activities.
The Coast Guard made the award on Aug. 26.
